De refugio bevindt zich op Alta Via 2 van de Dolomieten, van Bressanone naar Feltre langs de Marmolada en op de route van München naar Venetië, te voet door de Alpen, de Dolomieten en de zachte heuvels van Veneto: het “droompad” – in het Duits, Traumpfad Wanderung München-Venetië.
Het is te voet bereikbaar via de Viel dal Pan, vertrekkend vanaf de Passo Pordoi of het eindstation van de kabelbaan Alba-Col dei Rossi, men kan vervolgens te voet terug naar Alba gaan via de Neva weg of met de bus, wanneer de dienst actief is.
De refugio is ook bereikbaar met de auto vanuit Canazei en Rocca Pietore (BL), tot het Fedaia meer.

Excellent place for overnight stays for hikers and mountaineers who want to face the ascent to Punta Penia on the Marmolada or who travel along the Alta via 2 of the Dolomites or the Monaco - Venice, Traumpfad vom Munchen nach Venedig.
We have rooms and dormitories with bunk beds and shared bathroom, dinner and breakfast available. In room you have sheets, towels, duvet and it is privat, in cuccetta (dorm) there are sheets, duvet, you need your own sleeping liner and towel, the dorm is shared with other people.
We ask for honesty and fairness in considering the validity of the reservation and in case if you do not come, please warn in time. We ask you to pay on arrival or the evening of the overnight stay; any extra drinks or food will be paid at the moment of ordering. Dinner is at 7pm, breakfast from 7-9am. We provide containers for the waste sorting, we thank you in advance if you would like to help us.
