Corno di Bò
The shape of Nago-Torbole area - mountainous, rugged, yet rubbed smooth by glaciers in numerous places - provides several vertical walls for climbers with difficulty levels ranging from 4 to 8. Located 2 km south of Torbole on the road to Malcesine, the Corno di Bò is one of the most popular cliffs among free-climbers. Its wall drops straight down towards the lake, and features a 200 m slide with well-nailed (resin rings), medium-easy routes of different lengths. Apart from a great climb, climbers can also enjoy wonderful views, which get more and more spectacular and all-embracing as they make their way up on the wall. On their way back, climbers can choose whether rappelling back down, or taking the aided rock climbing trail on the left. The use of 60 m cords is recommended. A parking-lot is provided right after the tunnel, while another area is located approximately 500 m further up, on the left.
